Wixom Community Foundation invades Northville Downs Poker Room for a fund raiser!
Mark your calendars! On March 8th & 9th, the Wixom Community Foundation (WCF) will be one of the hosts at the Northville Downs Charity Poker Room. WCF will receive a portion of the funds raised these 2 evenings on the Texas Hold‘em poker tournament. The tournaments start at 7PM each night and are expected to have a buy-in of $45. The Poker Room typically expects to have anywhere from 45 to 65 players per tourney.
The best way for you to support WCF is to show up, bringing lots of your friends & family, and enter the poker tournament. The more people that show up to play, the more money WCF will raise! The Poker Room will be paying cash prizes to the top finishing players.
If playing poker is not your thing, you could always sign-up to help work the event. Volunteers are needed to staff the sign-in table (no dealing or poker experience needed). Please contact Deanna Magee, Community Services Director at 248-624-2850 for information on available dates and times.
